Shadow Hills Crash Leaves Man Dead

Two vehicles collided on Wednesday in Shadow Hills, resulting in the death of 33-year-old Raymundo Ibanez-Alcoser.

Reports included that the accident took place on January 11th on Sunland Way.

An SUV collided with a sedan, possibly head-on.

Raymundo was the driver of the sedan and sadly died at the scene.

There was also a woman and child in the SUV who were transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

While head-on collisions account for just 2% of all motor-vehicle accidents, they make up 10% of all fatal accidents.

These types of crashes are most common on two-lane highways and more than half result in a fatality.
