Fatal Wrong-Way Crash in Highland Leaves Two Dead, One Seriously Injured

A devastating head-on collision occurred in Highland on Wednesday afternoon, October 15, 2025, near the intersection of Baseline Street and McKinley Avenue. According to preliminary information from local authorities, a gray Infiniti G35 was traveling the wrong way at a high rate of speed around 1:45 p.m. when it collided with a gray Mazda 3.
The impact was catastrophic. The driver of the Infiniti, a 24-year-old Highland resident, and his 21-year-old female passenger from San Bernardino were pronounced dead at the scene. The Mazda driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care. Tragically, two dogs traveling in the Mazda were killed.
