Bakersfield, CA — A tragic head-on collision early Tuesday, October 28, 2025, claimed the life of a 40-year-old Delano man and left a 50-year-old woman from Arizona with major injuries on Highway 58 east of Bussell Road, according to preliminary statements from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
