On Monday morning, tragedy struck Vasco Road, connecting Contra Costa and Alameda counties, when a head-on collision killed an individual.According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), it appears that the driver of a Ford Fusion crashed into a tractor-trailer combination while on the road.Sadly, the Ford driver did not survive the impact, while the driver of the tractor-trailer remained unscathed.
