Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Monterey Highway
An unidentified male was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Jose Monday night.
The incident took place on February 6th around 9 p.m.
Per reports, a vehicle struck the victim at the intersection of Monterey Highway and Blossom Hill Road.
Sadly, he died at the scene of the crash. Their name is being withheld pending notification of kin.
An active investigation remains underway.
California has the highest pedestrian fatality rate which is 25% higher than the national average.
