Woman ID’d in Fatal Citrus Heights Pedestrian Crash

A Sacramento woman, ID’d as Kimberli Washington, sadly died in a pedestrian crash on Sunday, January 22nd.

The 41-year-old woman was struck around 7:45 in the evening on Auburn Boulevard in Citrus Heights.

A speeding vehicle reportedly hit Washington as she was crossing in the middle lane.

The car then veered and collided head-on with another vehicle.

Unfortunately, Washington was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle that was involved in the head-on collision also died later at the hospital.
