Elderly Woman Causes Deadly Parking Lot Crash

An elderly woman crashed into four vehicles and a tree in Long Beach on Saturday afternoon.

It was around 2:30 p.m. when Jenny Zavatsky, 90, sped through a parking lot and collided with the cars.

The impact caused the four cars to hit a man and 10-year-old boy.

Zavatsky then crashed into a tree on Palo Verde Avenue, causing her to become trapped inside of her vehicle.

The pedestrians along with the female driver were rushed to hospitals for treatment.

Sadly, the woman died.

The accident remains under investigation.
