Major Injuries Sustained in Fresno Motorcycle Accident

CHP reported a major-injury motorcycle accident in Fresno on Sunday, January 22nd.

It was about 3:30 p.m. when an SUV made a U-turn in front of a motorcycle on Belmont Avenue.

The rider was located unconscious but breathing, and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The involved driver fled the scene without providing aid to the victim.

An active search remains underway for the suspect.

Statistics have shown that 80% of motorcycle accidents result in serious injury or death.

Majority of accidents involving motorcycles are due to the other driver’s lack of visibility of the rider.
