50-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Ballico Crash

Serious injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle collision on Monday in Ballico, California.

Around 8 in the morning, a Toyota Tacoma was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Cruz at the intersection of Santa Fe Drive and Ballico Avenue.

Upon impact, the Toyota veered to the right side of the roadway and crashed into a parked trailer.

The driver of the Tacoma, ID’d as Carlos Ramirez, 50, was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto for treatment of major injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
