San Diego Pedestrian Crash Leaves Man Dead
70-year-old Gilberto Gallegos fell victim to a pedestrian accident in on Friday, January 20th.
The incident occurred on Market Street in San Diego.
It was reported that Gallegos was crossing northbound in the westbound lane when a driver struck him
The female driver called 911 to report the accident.
Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital where he sadly died later on.
An investigation remains underway to determine liability.
California has the highest pedestrian fatality rate which is 25% higher than the national average.
