San Dimas Man ID’d in Fatal Riverside County Crash
A fatal motorcycle collision occurred in Corona on Monday morning, resulting in the death of Diego Salguero, 29.
The San Dimas man collided with a truck around 11:30 a.m.
Per CHP, the wreck occurred within the southbound lanes of Highway 71.
Due to the impact, the motorcycle caught fire. Salguero sadly died at the scene.
Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
Statistics have shown that 80% of motorcycle accidents result in serious injury or death.
Majority of accidents involving motorcycles are due to the other driver’s lack of visibility of the rider.
