Man Killed in Rialto Car Crash
A Bloomington resident, identified as Jose Escobedo, 26, was tragically killed in a car accident last Friday in Rialto.
It was just minutes after 3 in the morning when Escobedo’s vehicle collided with a semi-truck.
The wreck occurred within the 300 block of West Slover Avenue.
Per reports, the driver of the semi made a left-turn in front of Escobedo’s Nissan Sentra.
Both vehicles collided and ended up blocking the roadway.
The impact caused Escobedo to be trapped inside of his vehicle. Sadly, despite life-saving measures, he died at the scene.
No injuries were reported from the truck driver, who has been identified as Jose Cordero.
An active investigation remains underway.
