Deadly DUI Collision Reported in Hesperia on Highway 395

A pregnant woman, ID’d as Nicole Ruddy, fell victim to a DUI head-on collision in Hesperia on Saturday night.

At about 11:40 p.m., the 33-year-old woman was traveling as a passenger in a Toyota Corolla.

The Toyota was struck by a drunk driver that veered into its path on Highway 395.

Andrew and Nicole Ruddy were rushed to a regional trauma center where Nicole sadly died.

She was 35 weeks pregnant and the baby did not make it.

The drunk driver was booked at the West Valley Detention Center and remains in custody.
