Fatality Reported in San Francisco Accident

A 64-year-old woman ID’d as Wan Mei Tan was killed in a pedestrian crash last Tuesday.

The incident occurred in San Francisco on January 10th just minutes before 6 p.m.

Tan was struck by a vehicle in the Mission District at the intersection of 16th and Valencia Streets.

She suffered severe injuries as a result and sadly died at the scene.

No information was provided on the driver involved.

An active investigation remains underway.

California has the highest pedestrian fatality rate which is 25% higher than the national average.
