Sandy Sanchez is a vibrant and highly motivated Case Manager at Avian Law Group. With her positive, goal-oriented personality, she brings over three years of case management experience and a decade of customer service expertise to the team. Sandy’s lively spirit and dedication to her work make her a valuable asset to both clients and colleagues alike.
Sandy obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Applied Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During her time there, she showcased her leadership abilities as the Cheerleading Co-Captain. Prior to that, she graduated from Norwalk High School with the highest honors, achieving a 3.85 GPA. Sandy was awarded the State Seal of Biliteracy and served as both the ASB President and Cheerleading Co-Captain.
Before joining Avian Law Group, Sandy held a Case Manager position at JT Legal Group, where she ensured proper medical treatment for over 150 cases and assisted clients with property damage. She previously worked as a Case Manager and Intake Specialist at West Coast Trial Lawyers, where she monitored and delegated tasks for over 200 cases, meeting monthly goals and providing crucial input on case retention.
Sandy also gained valuable experience during her internship as a Small Claims Mediator at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. In this role, she utilized negotiation tactics, effective listening skills, and restatement techniques to help disputing parties reach mutual settlements, acting as a neutral third party to control heated emotions.
Sandy possesses a wide range of skills, including familiarity with Casepeer and Abacus Law, the ability to efficiently read and collect medical and billing records along with health insurance liens, and maintaining strong relationships with various partners. She consistently demonstrates strong leadership skills, persuasion, confidence, and a high energy level.
Outside of work, Sandy is a fun-loving and adventurous spirit with a passion for travel and socializing. As a former cheerleader, she enjoys attending parties, exploring new destinations, and savoring her favorite alcoholic beverages. Sandy’s outgoing and cheerful personality shines through in every aspect of her life, making her an exceptional team member at Avian Law Group.
