Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash on Mulberry Avenue
Two vehicles collided due to an illegal U-turn in Fontana on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of Ulises Gonzalez, 21.
A tractor-trailer made the U-turn across traffic lanes on Mulberry Avenue.
As a result, a Honda Civic crashed into it and went underneath the rear of the trailer.
It was at 1:14 p.m. when the tragic accident took place.
Sadly, Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene.
Additionally, the driver of the Civic was treated for major injuries at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
No injuries were reported from the other driver.
