CHP reported a multi-vehicle collision in Modesto Thursday morning which left two women injured.
The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Paradise Road.
Three vehicles collided under unclear circumstances near Highway 132.
Julieta Garcia-Barrero, 49, sustained major injuries as a result and was hospitalized.
Additionally, 26-year-old Daniela Vargas-Marquez was hospitalized with minor injuries.
An active investigation remains underway.
