Deadly High-Speed Crash in Gardena, California

One person was killed and two others were hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Friday morning.

The wreck took place in Gardena around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Rosecrans and Vermont Avenue.

According to witnesses, the vehicles were speeding and ran a red light which caused the crash.

Sadly, one of the drivers, Tomas Ramirez Pedro, 49, was killed as a result.

Two other unidentified people were hospitalized with unknown injuries.

Investigators are actively working on the case.
