Linden Burke, of Joshua Tree, fell victim to a pedestrian accident on Saturday morning.
The 81-year-old man was struck on Highway 62 in the eastbound lanes.
It is unclear at this time what caused the accident.
It was around 5 a.m. when the incident took place in Joshua Tree on March 4th.
Unfortunately, Burke was pronounced dead at the scene.
An active investigation remains underway.
