45-year-old Kathy Chavez fell victim to a deadly car crash in San Fernando Valley Wednesday morning.
At around 3:45 a.m., a speeding vehicle ran a red light on North Balboa Boulevard.
This caused the vehicle to crash into the one Chavez was driving.
Unfortunately, the impact caused Chavez life-threatening injuries, killing her at the scene.
The passenger of the other vehicle was left with critical injuries and the driver unfortunately passed.
A candlelight vigil was held for Chavez on Wednesday. She has been remembered as a kind and caring person.
