The Los Angeles Times reported a fatal pedestrian accident on the 405 Freeway in Irvine on Tuesday.
It was around 7:30 p.m. when 33-year-old Matthew Solorzano was struck by a hit-and-run driver.
The victim was struck by a driver who entered the HOV lane and he fled the scene right after.
Sadly, Solorzano died at the scene.
An active investigation remains underway in attempts to locate the suspect.
