Man Hit & Killed by Vehicle in Santa Cruz
A 45-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Santa Cruz on Friday, January 20th.
He has been ID’d as Anthony Angel Chavez, of Santa Cruz.
Chavez was struck around 6:15 in the morning on Highway 1 at River Street.
A northbound vehicle struck the man, sadly killing him at the scene.
The involved driver was fully cooperative with authorities at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
