Mar Ruano Diaz is a Case Manager at Avian Law Group, bringing more than a decade of personal injury experience and a passion for helping clients navigate the legal process with confidence and compassion. Her extensive background in serious injury and catastrophic injury cases, combined with her commitment to client advocacy, makes her an invaluable member of the Avian team.

Before joining Avian Law Group, Mar served in leadership and case management roles at some of Southern California’s most respected personal injury law firms, including The Dominguez Firm, Sweet James, BD&J, and Law Brothers LLP. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed hundreds of personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries, commercial policy claims, premises liability, dog bites, government claims, and wrongful death matters. As a Pre-Litigation Supervisor in her previous firm, Mar led a team of case managers and medical records clerks handling more than 800 active cases. She trained and mentored team members through every phase of case management, fostered a culture of excellence and accountability, and worked closely with staff to achieve outstanding results while maintaining exceptional client service.

Throughout her career, Mar has coordinated medical treatment, preserved critical evidence, obtained medical records, communicated with insurance carriers, and guided clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. She has extensive experience handling high-value injury claims and has contributed to millions of dollars in settlements, helping clients secure the compensation they deserve.

Mar holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Biola University. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve and connect with a diverse client community.

Outside of work, Mar enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, and caring for her beloved senior dog. Whether she's discovering new places or enjoying quiet moments with loved ones, she values meaningful connections and bringing comfort and support to others—qualities that shine through in her work with every client she serves.
