Two vehicles collided in Kern County on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the death of one person.
Just minutes before 2 p.m. on March 7th, a semi-truck T-boned a Scion on Highway 58.
This caused Dekarriay Burrell, 25, to be ejected from the vehicle. He was sadly killed.

Occupants of passenger vehicles are more likely to be seriously injured after colliding with trucks due to the difference in weight between the vehicles.
These types of accidents are often caused by the braking capability of trucks.
