Serious injuries were sustained in a motorcycle accident that was caused by a fallen tree in Los Angeles.
The wreck occurred around 1:45 in the morning in the Lincoln Heights area.
It was reported that the rider was on her way home from work when she crashed into the tree.
Reports also included that the streetlight was out above the tree which is why the woman did not see it.
She suffered a broken leg and possibly a fractured hip as a result.
The fallen tree was likely to be caused by the winter storm that has hit Southern California.
