CHP reported a two-vehicle collision in Oakland that left two people injured on Sunday afternoon.
The wreck occurred just minutes after 4 p.m. on the 880 Freeway.
A Honda Civic collided with another car for unknown reasons within the northbound lanes.
Both the driver and passenger of the Honda were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.
The passenger has been ID’d as Perez Esmeralda, 25.
Vehicles were also removed from the scene by tow trucks.
An active investigation remains underway.
