The man from Hemet who was killed in a wrong-way collision has been ID’d as Martin Padilla, 47.
At around 4:45 a.m. on January 27th, two vehicles collided head-on in Corona.
The crash was the result of an impaired driver traveling on the wrong side of the road.
Per CHP, the accident occurred within the northbound lanes of Temescal Canyon Road.
The at-fault driver has been ID’d as Daniel Saul Cortez, 30, of Norco.
Unfortunately, Padilla died at the scene and Cortez was treated for moderate injuries.
