DUI Crash Leaves Jesus Villanueva Dead

Fatal DUI Collision Reported in Salinas, CA

40-year-old Jesus Villanueva was killed in a DUI crash in Salinas on Wednesday, December 28th.

It was in the evening when the tragic accident took place at Larkin and Victor Streets. 

Villanueva was driving a Honda when a Jeep crashed head-on into his vehicle.

Due to the impact, Villanueva became trapped inside of his vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. 

Sadly, the man died at the scene. 

Additionally, the Jeep driver suffered minor injuries and was under the influence of narcotics and alcohol at the time of the crash. 

She was arrested on gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI charges. 

The crash remains under investigation.
