Roxanne Fitzsimmons Injured in Car Crash

70-Year-Old Woman Hurt in Grass Valley Fatal Accident

One person was injured and another killed in a two-vehicle collision in Grass Valley on January 17th.

70-year-old Roxanne Fitzsimmons was driving an Acura MDX on Highway 49 when she collided with a Honda Civic.

It is unclear at this time what caused the accident. Both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time.

Sadly, the Honda driver was killed as a result.

Fitzsimmons was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for minor injuries.

An active investigation remains underway.
