Man ID’d in Deadly Calabasas Crash

Authorities have identified the 21-year-old man who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Calabasas Monday night.

Raymundo Garcia, of Oxnard, was in one of the vehicles that went over the center divider and overturned onto its roof.

Paramedics had to extricate him and another person from the vehicle. He sadly died at the scene and the other person was left with minor injuries.

The crash occurred on the 101 Freeway at about 9:15 p.m. on January 16th.

An active investigation remains underway to determine fault.
