Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in Palm Desert

One Killed in Palm Desert Traffic Accident

Two vehicles collided in Palm Desert Friday morning, which resulted in the death of one person.

It was around 2:30 a.m. when the accident took place at Country Club Drive and Cook Street.

One person became trapped inside of a vehicle and sadly died despite the life-saving measures of paramedics.

Another person sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

Several lanes of the roadway were shut down for a period of time as investigators worked at the scene.
