CHP is investigating the cause of a deadly crash involving a big rig that took place Friday morning.
The wreck took place around 5 a.m. on the 5 Freeway in the Sun Valley area of Los Angeles.
A van was reportedly stalled within the southbound lanes when the big rig slammed into it.
Upon impact, one of the vehicles became engulfed in flames.
Two unidentified people were killed as a result.
