A fatal pedestrian accident was reported in San Jose Monday night.
Weishan Xu, 78, was, was hit by a semi-truck on Monterey Highway just after 9 p.m. on February 6th.
Unfortunately, Xu died at the scene.
It was reported that the victim was hit while outside of a crosswalk. The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities.
Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
