Tragedy struck San Diego on the night of June 17th, 2021, as William Koch, a 31-year-old resident of Denver, was hit by a driver in a white pickup truck. The accident took place on state Route 94, just west of 28th Street in Golden Hill, and resulted in the untimely death of Mr. Koch. The incident has left his family, friends and the entire community in mourning.
According to reports, Mr. Koch was on vacation in San Diego at the time of the accident. He was walking along the road when he was struck by the driver of the pickup truck at around 9:22 pm. Emergency services arrived at the scene soon after, but unfortunately, Mr. Koch had already sustained fatal injuries.
