A wrong-way collision claimed the life of two men in Porter Ranch Sunday morning.
Just before 4:30 a.m., a box truck collided with a Cadillac sedan on the 118 Freeway.
It was reported that the driver of the sedan was traveling east in the westbound lanes which caused the fatal wreck.
Upon impact, the box truck crashed into an embankment on the right side of the off ramp.
Two occupants of the Cadillac, Andres Quintanar, 37, and Gerardo Parra, 49, sadly died as a result.
The driver of the Cadillac along with the truck driver were rushed to regional trauma centers.
Police are working together to piece together all of the details of the accident.
