An unidentified man was struck by a vehicle in Daly City on Sunday night, January 1st.
It was just before 9 p.m. when the incident occurred on San Jose Avenue.
The circumstances leading up to the accident remain unclear at this time.
The elderly man was rushed to a hospital where he unfortunately passed. His name is being withheld pending notification of kin.
It was also reported that the involved driver fled the scene after the crash.
