Richard Cortez, of Glendale, fell victim to a fatal pedestrian accident in Sacramento on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the incident took place around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and 26th Avenue.
The 52-year-old man was hit on March 19th and died shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
The involved driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities.
