Pedestrian Crash Kills Noe Mira

Man ID’d in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident 

CHP reported a deadly pedestrian accident in Los Angeles on Monday night, January 30th. 

It was about 11:40 p.m. when Noe Mira, 58, was hit by a vehicle at the 105 and 110 Freeway interchange. 

Mira suffered multiple blunt force trauma and sadly died at the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation to determine fault.

California has the highest pedestrian fatality rate which is 25% higher than the national average. 

Due to the vulnerability that pedestrians face on the road, it is important that they take the proper precaution. Below are some tips: 

  • Avoid distractions (headphones, use of cell phone)
  • Be aware of your surroundings 
  • Adhere to all traffic laws & signals 
  • Always use the crosswalk
