Three people were killed in a DUI car accident last Wednesday in Placentia, California.
The wreck occurred on January 25th around 8:45 p.m.
Per reports, a Honda ran a red light at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Melrose Street.
As a result, it collided with a white Van occupied by Alberto Vincente Lopez, 36, Gregoria Ramirez, 65, and a 10-year-old boy.
Unfortunately, both Lopez & Ramirez died at the scene. Three additional patients, including the 10-year-old boy, were rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Orange County.
The unidentified boy sadly died at the hospital that night.
It was also determined that the Honda driver was impaired at the time of the crash. He was soon arrested for felony DUI.
An active investigation remains underway.
