Joshua Tree Crash Kills 1, Injures 3

Two vehicles collided in Joshua Tree on Saturday afternoon, leaving one person dead and three injured.

The collision took place at 12:23 p.m. on March 11^th on Highway 62.

According to reports, Katherine Loarie was driving a Nissan when she pulled out and made a left turn in front of a pickup truck.

This caused the truck to crash into the driver’s side of the Nissan.

Sadly, Loarie died at the scene. Her passenger was treated at Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries.

In addition, both occupants of the truck were transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center with moderate injuries.

An active investigation remains underway.
