Fatal Pedestrian Accident Reported in Fresno County

It’s always heartbreaking to hear about pedestrians being struck by vehicles, and unfortunately, Jamie Cruz, a 39-year-old Woodlake resident, lost his life in such an accident on Saturday. The incident occurred on Highway 180 in Fresno County, involving three vehicles.

Reports suggest that the crashes happened just before midnight near Howard Avenue, which is slightly east of Kerman. According to the California Highway Patrol, a local driver struck Jamie while walking on the highway, resulting in his death. It’s unclear why Jamie was walking on the highway at that time.

At Avian Law Group, we understand that pedestrian accidents are far too prevalent in today’s world. It’s often difficult to determine who’s at fault in such incidents, but with a team of experienced attorneys by your side, you can get the justice you deserve.

If you or a loved one has been involved in a pedestrian accident, we recommend seeking legal advice as soon as possible. Avian Law Group’s skilled attorneys will work tirelessly to ensure that you receive compensation for your losses. We understand that no amount of money can bring back a loved one, but it can ease the financial burden that often arises after such tragedies.

As we approach the holiday season, it’s essential to remember to take extra precautions while driving or walking on the roads. If you’re traveling on foot, always use sidewalks or designated walking areas. If there are no sidewalks, walk on the left side of the road, facing traffic.

At Avian Law Group, we’re committed to helping our clients through even the most challenging times. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jamie Cruz’s family and friends during this difficult time. We hope that justice will be served, and the responsible parties will be held accountable for their actions.
