Redlands Pedestrian Crash Kills Gavin Sedano

Traveling on foot can be dangerous, even when you are following traffic rules. Unfortunately, a Highland man found this out too late when he was hit and killed by a car while crossing North Orange Street in Redlands. The accident occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. on June 21, 2023.

The victim has been identified as Gavin Sedano, and the police report indicates that he was walking outside of a designated crosswalk when the accident occurred. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Sedano succumbed to his injuries shortly afterwards. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene of the accident and cooperated with police investigators.

At Avian Law Group, we understand the pain and emotions that come with losing a loved one unexpectedly. The grieving process can be difficult enough without having to worry about legal or financial issues. That is why we are here to support you through this difficult time by providing comprehensive legal services.

In cases like these, it may be possible for the victim’s family to file a wrongful death lawsuit, claiming compensation for damages such as medical bills, funeral expenses, and lost income. This compensation can help ease the financial burden left by the sudden loss of a loved one.

It is important to remember, however, that not all pedestrian accidents are eligible for a wrongful death lawsuit. In some cases, the pedestrian may have been solely responsible for the accident, while in other cases, the driver may have been at fault. Our experienced attorneys can evaluate your case and determine whether you have a valid legal claim.

If you have lost a loved one in a pedestrian accident, please contact Avian Law Group today to schedule a free consultation with one of our experienced attorneys. We can provide compassionate and effective legal representation to help you obtain the compensation you deserve.
