Fidel Gallardo ID’d in Fatal San Diego Crash

Lemon Grove Man Killed in Traffic Accident

Two vehicles collided in San Diego Sunday afternoon, resulting in the death of 63-year-old Fidel Gallardo.

It was around 1 p.m. when the accident took place on Market Street.

Fidel Gallardo was driving in a Nissan Maxima when he veered into opposing traffic.

This caused a collision with an SUV on March 5^th.

Unfortunately, Gallardo suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead after being transferred to Scripps Mercy Hospital.

An active investigation remains underway.
