A total of three people were killed in a Palm Desert crash on Wednesday evening.
It was around 7:15 p.m. when the tragic accident took place on December 28th.
A Nissan Sentra occupied by Elena Morron, 84, Abel Alvarado, 69, and Yolanda Alvarado, 65, was hit by a speeding Honda Accord.
The incident took place at the intersection of Fred Waring and Adonis Drives.
All occupants of the Nissan became trapped inside of the vehicle upon impact and sadly died as a result.
Non-life-threatening injuries were sustained in the Honda driver.
An active investigation remains underway.
