David D’Lima Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash

Fatality Reported Following Pacific Coast Highway Accident

23-year-old David D’Lima died in a hit-and-run accident in Encinitas on January 1st.

It was at about 12:30 in the morning when D’Lima was struck by a vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway. 

Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital where he sadly died due to his injuries. 

According to reports, the suspect was driving a dark-colored sedan or van and fled the scene. It could have possibly been a Chrysler or Dodge. 

The loved ones of the victim have created as GoFundMe page to help during this time. 

California has the highest pedestrian fatality rate which is 25% higher than the national average.
