A motorcyclist was killed by a driver who ran a red light in San Diego County Monday morning.
It was around 6 a.m. when a Kia made a left-hand turn in front of a motorcyclist, ID’d as Dana Terry, 67, of El Cajon.
Terry applied his brakes to try and avoid the collision but was unsuccessful.
First responders rushed the rider to Sharp Memorial Hospital but he unfortunately died prior to arrival.
The 51-year-old female driver of the Kia was arrested shortly after.
An investigation remains underway.
