Tragic news hit Sacramento this past Saturday when 49-year-old Charles Carlson was fatally injured in a traffic accident while riding his bicycle on State University Drive at Sacramento State Campus. Our condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
At Avian Law Group, we understand the devastation that can result from such an unexpected loss. While it may be difficult to even consider legal action during this emotional time, it’s important to understand that there may be avenues of recourse available to those affected by such incidents.
Unfortunately, traffic accidents involving bicyclists are all too common, and can often result in serious injury or death. It’s important to remain aware of your surroundings when riding a bicycle, and to always wear a helmet and other protective gear. Additionally, drivers must take extra precautions to ensure the safety of bicyclists on the road.
In this case, the cause of the accident is still under investigation. However, if it is determined that the driver of the vehicle involved was negligent or at fault for the accident, the victim’s family may be able to pursue legal action. This can include seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages resulting from the accident.
At Avian Law Group, we know that no amount of compensation can fully make up for the loss of a loved one. However, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and experienced legal representation to those affected by traffic accidents. If you or a loved one has been involved in a similar incident, don’t hesitate to reach out for a consultation.
