On June 1st, Aniesha Dotson, a 38-year-old woman from Pleasant Hill, lost her life in a fatal accident. According to the California Highway Patrol, Dotson was struck and killed by a driver while she was walking on the southbound Highway 242, just south of Clayton Road in Concord. The accident happened around 11:30 p.m.
