Suspect ID’d in Vacaville Hit-and-Run Collision

Avian Law Group reports on a recent hit-and-run collision near Interstate 780 in Vacaville, California, that resulted in injuries to a construction worker. On Tuesday, April 25th, a worker at a construction site was struck by a vehicle in the area of Interstate 80 and 780 Freeway. Damani Mathews Jr. was identified as the driver who caused the injuries by the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.

According to ABC10 News, the Sheriff’s Office pursued Mathews Jr. as he tried to flee the scene after hitting the construction worker. Thankfully, the worker survived and was taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
